I loved every second of this session!
This session features Mariah and Matthew, first-time parents who wanted to capture the sweet moments before their baby boy arrives in March. This session was particularly near and dear to my heart because I have known Mariah since we were 3 years old. We have been lifelong friends and I had the honor of being her maid of honor when she married Matthew in 2020. It brought me SO much joy when they sat me down several months ago and told me they were expecting their first child. Of course, I wanted to capture a bit of her journey and I absolutely can't wait to capture the little boy when he arrives. I'm SO excited to become auntie Erin!!
Logistics wise - even in the winter, Great Falls (Virginia-side) is gorgeous! It made for the perfect background the blue-neutral theme Mariah was looking for. A few details to note if you are interested in this location - there is a $20 fee for the park per car. Also, there is limited cell reception in the parking area and other parts of the park, so I always recommend planning to meet at the visitor center in case it is difficult to contact one another once inside the park.
